As part of the evening there will be a silent auction as well as a live auction. The silent auction will start when the doors open at 5:30pm and run until 7:30pm. The live auction, which will consist of select premier items will start at the conclusion of the keynote speak, approximately around 8:30pm. This year as well a raffle will be taking place throughout the evening to continue to build on the night and raise funds for a local charity.

This event will raise funds for our local charity partner, Child Health Investment Partnership (CHIP) of Roanoke Valley.

The Hot Stove Banquet proceeds will also fund a scholarship in honor Mike Smith, dedicated supporter of Salem Baseball, 12-year game day employee and long-time City of Salem employee. Mike lost his battle to cancer in August 2008. This year, one high school / college game day employee will be honored with the scholarship.

Schedule:
Doors open and Silent Auction begins at 5:30
Cocktail Hour with cash bar 5:30-6:45 pm
Dinner & Program begins at 6:45 pm
Keynote Speaker at 8:00pm
Live Auction at 8:30pm

100% of the proceeds from the event will be used locally to benefit our community.
