Saturday's Indians-Bats Game Postponed
The Contest Will Be Made Up As Part of a Doubleheader on July 5
The Indians and Bats will now play the first and second games of their series in a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at 1:00 p.m. EDT. Both games will be scheduled for seven innings. Gates will open at 12:30 p.m. (Bill Gentry)

INDIANAPOLIS -- Saturday's International League contest between the Indianapolis Indians and Louisville Bats has been postponed due to rain at Victory Field.

The teams will now play the first and second games of their series in a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at 1:00 p.m. EDT. Both games will be scheduled for seven innings. Gates will open at 12:30 p.m.

Louisville LHP Matt Maloney and Indianapolis RHP Ian Snell are the probable starters for game one, while Bats' RHP Justin Lehr and Indians RHP Daniel McCutchen are expected to get the nod in game two.

Both of Sunday afternoon's contests will be carried by WXLW-950 AM and www.IndyIndians.com with Howard Kellman and Scott McCauley. The pre-game show begins at 12:40 p.m.

Fans with tickets to Saturday evening's contest may exchange them for tickets of equal value to another 2009 regular-season home game. All exchanges are based on availability and must be made at the Victory Field Box Office.
