Canzone Tabbed as Aces Only Pacific Coast League All-Star Selection

RENO, Nev. – Accolades continue to chime in for the Reno Aces from their record-breaking season as outfielder Dominic Canzone was tabbed as a Pacific Coast League All-Star by Minor League Baseball on Wednesday. This marks the third time this season that the 26-year-old has been recognized for his excellence

RENO, Nev. – Accolades continue to chime in for the Reno Aces from their record-breaking season as outfielder Dominic Canzone was tabbed as a Pacific Coast League All-Star by Minor League Baseball on Wednesday.

This marks the third time this season that the 26-year-old has been recognized for his excellence on the field by Minor League Baseball. He was also named PCL Player of the Month in June and also earned the league’s Player of the Week honors in the same month.

In 71 games with the Aces this season, the Ohio State product produced an offensive slash line of .354 AVG/.431 OBP/.634 SLG, along with 37 extra-base hits (16 home runs), 71 RBI and 61 runs scored.

He made his MLB debut on July 8th with the Arizona Diamondbacks and played 15 games with the big-league club before being traded to the Seattle Mariners as part of the Paul Sewald deal at the trade deadline.
